DIY Guide-Using dual power source to power a single PC.

So you have the processor to 4GHz + pump, also a RAID 0 array, Good.
What? 550W power supply its hesitating Voltmodded run 7800 GTX SLI?
Random reboots after installing the cooling water?
Do not worry!

This guide shows how to use two ATX PSU to juice Ultra PC range.
Double the strength, twice the fun, right?

# Method1-'Relay and brother 'method. (I call it that.)

# Purpose: This method uses two PSUs.One be called as PSU1 that the power of the motherboard (If the 7800GTX as well.) # What we need-
1.Good quality ATX PSU, different strengths and amperage will not hurt.
2.Some cables.
3.Wire strippers.
relay 12V DC 4.Simple easy to find in the automotive parts stores. (High quality, please!)
5.Insulating tape.
* Optional "(These things can save the warranty!)
6.One ATX 20/24 pin female (I took a board of garbage)
7.One 4 pin Molex connector Male (I got a box fan burnt)
8.Heat Shrink tubing.
9.Soldering iron and wire.

# Get your hands dirty-
1.Firstly get the relay and solder wires Tape the four points in the relay, are shown below (you can use different color codes) –
> 12 V = yellow
Mass> = Black
> Change short1 = Green.
> Change shotr2 = Blue.
Put heat tape to reduce the pipe or joint.

2.Find the 4-pin Molex Male connector.Connect of +12 V and ground wires of the relay, respectively, yellow and black wires on Women molex.Cover joints as usual.
Court PSU1 Molex connector, connect the yellow and black wires directly "From" PSU1 "For" the respective points in the relay. (Forget any warranty now)

3.Get Women connector.Connect ATX 20-pin male connector pins 20 PSU2.

4.Look for a conductor with the Greens in the peloton notice in which pin, 20 Pins connected.Mark this pin is in brand Male connector.Also any black wire connecting many spikes in the same connector.There many black cables, so it is easy to detect.

5.Disconnect connectors, PSU keep it aside for a while.

6.As know where the green and black wires are present in the connector, solder wires green and blue connector Independent Woman markings.Tape agreement with them as usual.

These joined 7.Solder newly green and blue wire to the respective points in the relay (either short-Switch)
Cut the green and any black wire from pin PSU2 connector.Join ATX20 these leads directly to 'short swicth' relay points (Blanks warranty)

PSU is ready!

# Connections "
1.Connect the 20-pin ATX connector to the motherboard PSU1.

2.Connect ATX P4 4-pin +12 V (square) connector to the motherboard PSU1.

3.Power all devices molex as hard drives, DVD, fans, etc. the PSU2.

(You are done if you have not used optional connectors and cables are joined directly)

Recently 4.Join ATX 20-pin socket to connect to PSU2, already have joined the 'Short Change' pin of the relay.

4-pin Molex 5.Plug Women, just done, free molex connector cables PSU1.Those Relay willpower.

PSU 6.Connect both the wall outlet (or UPS)

# Beneifits of 'Relais and brother "method"

# Important Tips-
