Will this work to shed a few pounds?

I'm just looking to lose a few pounds. I am overweight by any means, I just noticed I gained a little fat around the stomach area that I had (due to work on the afternoon shift and a Wendy's run after a lot lol) I'm just going to get away from fast food to the sensible portions of healthy food. My work is a good deal of physical movement that burns calories … I start eating poorly lately. Do you think this will work? I am a boy of 23 years, so it is not the most difficult to lose weight. Any other suggestions?
